Detecting errors in nodes of technical systems with static nonlinearities

Abstract: A method for performing the functional diagnosis of control systems defined by block diagrams is presented. The approach can be used to detect and localize errors without taking into account the distorted parameters of the elements as well as to design diagnostic devices that do not exceed the total number of the components in the original system.
