Periodic motions and criteria of absolute stability, instability, and controllability of two-dimensional bilinear systems

Abstract:
Two-dimensional time-varying linear systems under parametric interval uncertainty are studied. A variational method based on phase portrait is developed for investigating controllable systems. Analytical criteria for absolute stability, instability, and complete controllability are formulated. The complete controllability criterion is shown to be implied by the criteria of absolute stability and instability.
