Problem of optimization of control system finite state

Abstract: For linear systems with restricted control there is considered the minimization ol the distance between the finite point and the origin of coordinates under the conditions of fixed time of motion $T$ and agreed initial point $x_0$. The solution of the problem is based on the maximum principle. For the second order systems a structure of optimal trajectories is studied in detail and a way for an approximate solution of the problem is proposed.
