Probability problem of pattern recognition learning and potential functions method

M. A. Aizerman, È. М. Braverman, L. I. Rozonoèr

Moscow
Abstract: A probability problem of pattern recognition learning is formulated. An algorithm is described which is based on the potential functions method and permits to obtain a function approximating the validity of the fact that the situation appearing at the automaton input belongs to this or that class. A theorem on the convergence (in the probabilistic sense) of the obtained function to this validity is proved.
