Discrete Systems
Theory of pulse systems
A. A. Bulgakov Moscow
Abstract:
It is pointed out that in a considerable part of pulse systems, called quasicontinuous, the working function is realized by the continuous part of the output signal. A new approach to the theory of the quasicontinuous pulse systems based on the expansion of pulse functions in the stepwise Fourier series and the following smoothing of the stepwise functions is described. One of the smoothed parts produces a “useful function” modulated by the control signal (a constant part, the first harmonic). As a result the pulse element is reduced to a continuous “noisy” element and the pulse system is substituted by an equivalent continuous system.
