Absolute stability of control systems having ambiguous backlash and stop non-linearities

D. A. Belova, A. V. Netushil

Moscow
Abstract: For the investigation of the absolute stability of control systems with nonlinearities of the “backlash” and “stop” type on the basis of V. M. Popov's criterion, the representation of these nonlinearities in the form of a combination of linear elements and a univalued nonlinearity is used. The results obtained are compared with the results of a similar investigation accomplished under L. S. Goldfarb's method. The problems of the synthesis of linear stabilizing circuits are considered.
